When you leave Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, after successfully completing your treatment, there is ongoing support for you in your recovery.
Aftercare
In an effort to provide a continuance of quality care, the Adult Program offers aftercare groups. The focus of the group is to ease your transition from hospital to home, work and social environments. The group is an extension of your hospitalization and is offered to you at no additional charge for a period of twelve months after discharge. There are two separate aftercare groups, one for psychiatric needs and one for addictive disease needs. Participants have the opportunity to attend multiple meetings each week, offering many hours more than other facilities.
