Chicago Lakeshore Hospital takes pride and is well respected in the community as a teaching hospital.  The Lecture Series are a way for mental health and substance abuse clinicians in the community to take advantage of our educational programs.

Lunch and Learn
The Lunch-n-Learn Series deal with pharmaceutical drugs and their treatment or substance abuse issues, and are presented by Dr. Handrup.  The Lunch Series are monthly and take place on the first Wednesdays of the month.
 
The Professional Breakfast Lectures deal with psychiatric, emotional or behavioral issues in children and adolescents, and are presented by the Medical Director, Dr. Peter Nierman.  The Professional Breakfast Lectures take place on the second Thursdays of every other month.
 
There is 1 CEU credit available for the Lunch Series and 1 CEU's for the Professional Breakfast Lectures.  The CEU credits are available for Social Workers, Counselors & LCPC's.

Chicago Lakeshore Hospital also provides other lectures for SASS Clinicians and Employee Assistance Professionals.
