Chemical Dependency

Treatment Programs
Chicago Lakeshore Hospital provides a broad continuum of services for adults with emotional and chemical dependence issues. Our continuum of care includes intensive outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient hospital programs. The treatment experience provides the patient with a safe and structured therapeutic environment.

Our treatment team's focus is to assist patients in regaining a sense of control over their lives. There is an emphasis on patients developing healthy self-management strategies.

Program Features and Services May Include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family crisis intervention or family therapy
  • Medication management
  • Case management
  • Other specialty tracks may include dual diagnosis, eating disorders, survivors of trauma or abuse, and the chronic pain patient

Treatment Team
We believe a team approach is the most effective method to deliver quality care. The treatment team is led by a psychiatrist and often includes a licensed therapist, psychiatric nurse, activity/recreational therapist, clinical social worker, and mental health counselors. The treatment team offers not only their clinical expertise and experience, but also their concern and compassion.
