Prominent Chicago Psychiatric Hospital is currently searching an experienced behavioral health Registered Nurse for the role of Chief Nursing Officer-CNO.
This Chief Nursing Officer-CNO will be responsible for providing leadership to our inpatient clinical departments.
Leading clinical staff in the delivery of quality and safe patient care, budget adherence, performance improvement, clinical and programmatic effectiveness and integrity. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing standards of nursing practice which define and describe the scope of patient care. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for assuring that all clinical discipline objectives are established and met according to the hospital’s plan of care for each patient. This Chief Nursing Officer-CNO will also be responsible for leading and developing others individually and as a team, to be effective team members.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Must have current CPR and CPI certification.
- MSN required.
- Experience in mental health; preferred.
- Strong behavioral health/cd inpatient experienced required with a minimum of five years of senior level management experience.
- Experienced in The Joint Commission and CMS inpatient hospital regulations.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of diverse individuals and groups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Supervision of nursing clinical team.

We are seeking experienced PRN Float Pool Utilization Specialist. Our ideal candidates will complete quality health care service reviews as assigned to advocate for authorization of patient healthcare needs in a cost effective manner to promote positive outcomes. Duties include utilization management and quality monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience in an inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric hospital setting. Primary duties will be focused in an inpatient setting. Hours will vary by week. Current Illinois LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW licensure preferred. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. The minimum degree required is a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is preferred.

Psychologist / Behaviorist
We are seeking a Psychologist/Behaviorist for up to 25 hours per week. Requirements include: PHD. LCPC, LCSW and experience working with a wide range of psychiatric populations with behavioral, mood and personality disorders. The right candidate should have extensive “hands-on” experience with assessment skills, behavioral planning and/or teaching/collaborative abilities to assist other professionals with significant behavioral challenges. Specific work experience with Child and adolescents is a plus.

Outpatient Clinical Coordinator / Clinician - Per Diem
The Outpatient Clinical Coordinator / Clinician is responsible for service provision of the Outpatient Program. These services include individual, family and group therapy as clinically indicated, assessing the overall clinical needs of the patient utilizing specialized knowledge and skills, participating in interdisciplinary treatment team planning, and anticipating the outcomes of clinical interventions. Additional responsibilities include conducting initial patient clinical interviews and completing formal intake reports, developing treatment plans, contributing to discharge planning, and collaborating with Utilization Review staff.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work. LCPC or LCSW required
Art Therapist - Dance (DMT)
The Expressive Therapist will provide quality expressive therapy intervention services to psychiatric and chemically dependent patients in a group setting. These sessions will address therapeutic goals in collaboration with the patients treatment team.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, or related field.

Mental Health Worker- Child and Adolescent
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Mental Health Counselor positions who would responsible for providing treatment services to children and adolescents with mental illness and substance abuse issues as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Treatment services include orientation, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention and psycho educational groups.
