Staff Biographies 
Joe Camper, MA, LCPC
Director, Valeo
Mr. Camper has been employed in the field of behavioral health for over 26 years. Mr. Camper has worked in inpatient psychiatric settings, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. He has performed individual, group and family therapy on an outpatient basis, and has functioned as an employee assistance person (EAP). Mr. Camper has been the Director of Valeo since its inception during August, 2004.
Kevin A. Osten, Psy.D.
Dr. Kevin Osten has worked within the field of psychology for over 15 years, the preponderance of the time in inpatient hospitals. Dr. Osten has attended to the needs of the GLBT community for several years, focusing on substance abuse issues especially crystal methamphetamine. Dr. Osten obtained his Doctorate in Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where he researched the similarities and differences between homosexual and heterosexual Black/White couples.
Barbara J. Lusk, RN, BS
I am the nurse case manager for the adult intensive outpatient programs at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital. My role in the Valeo Intensive Outpatient Program is to provide education to our patients regarding medication issues and be a resource for general health questions. I have worked in a wide array of nursing areas during my career, including psychiatry, surgical intensive care, gerontology, as well as community nursing care and hospice. I also have experience in marketing medical education services.
Molly Herron, LSW
Ms Herron has worked in the field of behavioral health for over 5 years and with the GLBT community for much of that time. Her areas of specialty are sexual and gender identity development, human development generally and the treatment of trauma. Ms Herron is a graduate of Smith College School of Social Work in Massachusetts, where her research concentrated on the process of self-acceptance for transgender adolescents.
